clanwilliam is going to be in the Sanova area -- she needs a place to stay (av_lad, he of the no children or pets, has volunteered) and MUST SEE all the LITTLE SITHS and BORGS.
Ummmm... you would post this the very instant I realise something very very important indeed.
I really can't be in the US that weekend.
April 16 is fine, but April 17 is my first wedding anniversary (am v.v.v.v. red-faced on realising this) and I really don't want to be apart from him for it.
However, how about a different weekend? Which would also mean that people could spend more time with me instead of running around like headless chickens getting a premiere together?
While it would be so cool if you could be here for the premiere, another weekend would definitely give us more time to hang out and just have fun together.
I am just so embarassed at forgetting my own first wedding anniversary.
Even though G. has gone "no, no, go and see your friends" - sadly I can't persuade him to come with me, not least because of the current US political and immigration climate (I'm feeling a bit nervous because of my profession and what US immigration has been doing to journalists lately).
I can't wait! I'm really looking forward to it! How sweet is G that he's willing to give you up on your first anniversary to come and see friends! You should go on a mini-break (a la Bridget Jones' Diary - without the embarrasing visits with ex's and falling in ponds of course) ;)
Not coming that weekend - coming a different weekend. He was willing for me to go - I wasn't willing to do so.
But this means that it'll be a weekend where people aren't running around like blue-arsed flies. I promise I will have visited by the end of May. Suggested dates would be a Good Thing.
I know. I guess I didn't make that clear enough in my post. What I meant was that you should reward your sweetie for being so nice by staying home and taking him on a mini-break instead! ;)
