Oh, Arthur! How so pretty? I love that you mostly don't see his face, that he's in shiny armor, that this could almost be an effigy on a tomb or a knight-to-be standing vigil. Arthur is always as much symbol as he is reality.

I made this! Well, I cropped it and bordered it. In bare-bones Paint, no less. (And at least one person stole it. :P) Tim seems to me a boy who spent much of adolescence in need of brain bleach. See comment above.

I did a couple of dialogue-balloon crops. This one's from Young Justice #16:

Wonder Girl: You're not a villain.
Arrowette: I am. And it's gonna stink. I'm not going to get to win anymore. All my friends will hate me. Oh God... I'll have to get a tight, skimpy black leather outfit that shows off my cleavage. Oh God... I'll have to get cleavage.

I love her despairing tone. I hate that she's right. And I'm bemused at how often this icon is in some way on-topic. Oh, Internet!

Nine Months Ago: Jan 19th 2005 - Spammity quiz spam with bitter Snape sauce So I meme'd out as Snape. The signs were all there, as I'm on video from several years ago making my New Year's resolution: "Keep more secrets from my friends."

One Year Ago: Oct 21st 2004 - Tiberius! A link to an insightful look at the candidate James T. Kirk and what he really stands for. Meanwhile, back at the Circle K Beach.... we discover just what Sawyer was reading. That was before av_lad decided that since all the shows he likes get cancelled, he'd wait for Lost to come out on DVD. It seems to work -- we've kept him away from first-run series for almost a year.

Two Years Ago: Oct 21st 2003 - Life is Good I regale the world with a tale of the mini-relaxicon sunnys and I enjoyed that weekend, which included "vids, slash fiction, computers, costuming, good food, fannish movies and tv, fun friends". My sister-in-law and two friends are mentioned; they have since been converted to LJ and are borgmama, ishyko, and av_lad, respectively.
