SPN J2 Big Bang art - "Phoenix"

We can has spn_j2_bigbang again now!

The second fic that I signed up to do art for, Phoenix is now up. Written by parenthetical and zooey_glass04, it's a gen case file with a terrific hook:

"Bobby's got a case for us in Arizona.... House fire... started in the nursery."

Toss in a six-month old barely saved from the fire, a traumatized older brother, a whiff of demonic forces, and you've got a mystery that Sam and Dean can't turn away from.

Seriously, the art work that's coming out of this challenge has been nothing short of stunning and yours is gorgeous. Wonderful work.

Thanks! I think I really lucked out -- both stories I signed up for were full of clear, evocative images that really gave me something to work with.

And you know, it's not like SPN isn't all about the fire imagery. But I did think it was funny that I ended up with "Spark" with fireman!Dean and "Phoenix" with a fire demon. It made my google image searches pretty easy since a lot of what I came across was potentially useful for both projects. Fandom + internet = multitask training!
