So here's the cast and crew picture from our latest film shoot. I'm in a white t-shirt in the front row, just to the right of our villainess (she's the dish all in red at the very center front).


I am insanely proud of this costume. Dawn and I made this in a week -- without a pattern! -- and it flowed like a dream as Karen glided through her scenes.

We are so hyped! The museum was amazing -- Shane (Herr Director) and Jack (Director of Photography) blocked the shots to perfection. Looking at the dailies, you'd have thought we were filming in the Winter Palace in St. Petersburg. Awe-inspiring.

I kept looking at it and going, "I wish I could wear that, I wish I could wear that." And quite frankly, no one but Karen can wear it, because it's hand-tailored to her. Dammit, if she wasn't my sister-in-law's sister and a pretty neat person, I'd have to hate her.

Isn't it though? And the hair and make-up! And Karen just pulled it off with such poise and confidence. The drooling fanboys aren't going to know what hit 'em when this film is finished. *g*
