You know, I'm on video from several years ago making my New Year's resolution: "Keep more secrets from my friends."

Fortunately, the bitter temper is usually kept well-swaddled in my laziness and manipulative good-nature. I get my way most of the time and with little effort. But I've been told it's startling on the rare occasions I let it out. And as for the frosty exterior, it generally comes across as shy or reserved. Then, once people get to know me and I'm more expressive around them, they wail, "You used to be so quiet!"
