Reveals!
ishyko, whom I brow-beat into doing Yuletide every year and who then rides herd on my procrastinating ways with daily calls, wrote a slightly AU Little Women fix-it for
mariagoner, lightly flavored with the melodrama so favored by the young Jo March herself. There are masked men speaking in French! Swooning! And the happily-ever-after we all wanted.
Sonatas and Nocturnes - In an effort to put her life back together after Beth's passing, Jo goes to Paris where she unexpectedly runs into Laurie.
As for myself, I matched 2 out of the 3 fandoms
marag requested, and was familiar enough with the third to have acquired it in time if neccessary.
I really, really, really tried to write a story for Randall Garrett's Lord Darcy series, but it just wouldn't come together. A few days before deadline I realized that I would have to turn to my other fandom match: Peter O'Donnell's Modesty Blaise.
Mara's details had said, "This fandom doesn't exactly lend itself to fluff, but I'd like something that isn't *too* depressing, if possible.... [A]nd please don't put Modesty and Willie together."
How could I turn that kind of challenge down?
An Ever-Fixèd Mark - In which it is all Steve Collier's fault, except when it's Willie's.
