yuletide. This year, the meds must've kicked in because I only offered 9.

vivien529 by dint of Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere. Prompts for Divine Secrets of the Ya Ya Sisterhood and Wings of Desire held no interest for me. But the fourth request.... Addams Family Values, Joel/Wednesday. Not a fandom I offered but Vivien's request actually sparked a complete story just by looking at it. I mean, the whole beginning and ending actually appeared in my brain fully formed and phrased. Why can't that happen more often? ::whines:: (Of course, it was the part in the middle that kept me busy on Dec. 19th....)
Anyway, with that kind of inspiration, I had to go with it and I couldn't be more thrilled with the response it's gotten, clearly a testement to just how well-loved the source material is. The consensus is that it's a sweet and very romantic story, which may say more about you guys than it does about me.
