The light at the end of the tunnel is Yuletide

Gah!

I'm sitting in the office with a boatload of work, a strained left calf that causes me to limp like Igor, a strained right arm that makes it hurt to type, a headache, and a low-grade fever (chills and hot flashes - how I've missed you! Not).

At least the chest-rattling cough is (mostly) gone.

Only the glee that is [livejournal.com profile] yuletide is keeping me going. So many good stories I've already read, so many still to look forward to, and I can't wait for the reveal so I can go glom on the brains of the Vorkosigan saga writers.

How'd you strain your arm and your leg??

I can't wait for the reveal so I can go glom on the brains of the Vorkosigan saga writers.

I'm going to make a wild guess that one of them is [livejournal.com profile] lightgetsin, mostly because of the awesomeness that was A Deeper Season, but then she posted this in her journal:

So.

Leg: who knows? I was using the sewing machine last weekend while at a very low table and had my leg curled at an odd angle. That may have done it.

Arm: I've got a new mouse at work and I haven't worked out all the necessary ergonomics.

Ooooo, I'm definitely checking A Deeper Season out! ::saves to Palm::

I really enjoyed The Long Con but surely it's Ivan's relatives on his father's side that get him into all the trouble? ::pickpickpick -- but it's both crucial and obvious::

And thank you very much for your kind comment on my [livejournal.com profile] yuletide story!
